*The Vasc Band™ Hemostat and the TR Band™ Radial Compression Device were tested on 10 human subjects. For each test, the compression band was secured to the wrist and inflated with recommended nominal and maximum inflation values for each device. Per the product IFUs, nominal air inflation is 15 ml for the Vasc Band™ Hemostat and 13 ml for the standard inflatable radial compression device, while maximum air inflation of 18 ml is the same for both devices. Pressure applied by each device to the radial and ulnar arteries was recorded using a Tekscan™ ELF Force and Load Measurement System and FlexiForce™ B201 flexible sensors. Data on file at Teleflex.
